I have had a lot of request for the three layer cake recipe and the cream cheese frosting recipe that were used in making the Memorial Day Flag Cake, so without further adieu…here ya go!
Both recipes are adaptations from their original form to help you make a three layer cake and enough frosting to cover it without you having to double anything or like what I do a lot is 1 and 1/4 a recipe (sometimes doubling is just to much).
The original recipe for the cream cheese frosting came from “The Joy of Cooking Cookbook” and the original cake recipe came from “ The Magnolia Bakery Cookbook”
