teacher-gifts-candy-in-a-jar

Need a super fast and super easy gift for a teacher in a pinch?  Try making one of these adorable mini candy jars.

Here is a list of supplies:

  • M&M’s
  • scissors
  • ribbon
  • adhesive
  • tag (see below)
  • a mini jar from Hobby Lobby.  Original price was $1.47, they were on sell 50% off so I only paid .74 cents for it!  Either way it is a great deal.

First step, go to this link and print out your teacher tag.  The ladies at eighteen25.blogspot have made some awesome tags and are sharing with everyone.  You can get the correct size for your project in 1 of 2 ways.  Option #1- print the tags as-is and then reduce using the settings on your printer or copier.  Or option #2- edit the image using a photo editing software such as photo impression.  I found that option #2 was easier for me.  My finished tag measures 2 inches across.

Second step, adhere your tag, tie on some ribbon, pour M&M’s into the jar and voilà… a cute gift any teacher would enjoy having on their desk.

I’m thinking if we change up the tag this would make a cute gift for Secretary’s Day too.
