Sour Cream Candy Holder

Who knew 6 little Hershey Kisses in a package could look so cute and be so easy to make!
I got to say I call this a “sour cream" candy holder but do you remember when they use to put ice cream in containers like this?
These little candy holders are great for any occasion.  Halloween, Easter, Christmas, Birthdays, Baby and Wedding Showers are just a few occasion in which I have made these for others.

Here are a few supplies that you will need:

  • 4 1/2” x 5 1/2” piece of pretty paper
  • stamp pad
  • stamp
  • paper crimper
  • ribbon
  • 6 Hershey Kisses
  • 2” scallop circle, 1 3/8 circle, and a 1 /14 circle to make the tag in the photo
  • adhesive of your choice, I used a double sided tape runner

Apply adhesive to both of the 5 1/2” sides and one of the 4 1/2” side of your paper
010
Adhere the short ends of the paper together to form a cylinder.  Kind looks like a small toilet paper roll.

012
Press down one end of the roll to close.  Pace that end into the paper crimper and crimp two to three lines.  Doing this just makes it look cute and also reinforces the adhesive.
014
Fill the container with 6 Hershey Kisses and press down the opened end in the opposite direction to close.  Place that end into the the paper crimper and crimp two to three lines.
015
Assemble your tag and fasten to the contain with ribbon.
